SAy it with a SAkkie is a small, local company based in the the coastal town of Knysna, on the beautiful Garden Route in South Africa.
SAkkies are all about....

* Creating an ALL-SOUTH AFRICAN product - our bags are hand-made from natural fabric by a community group of LOCAL Knysna women. So not only are you supporting the ENVIRONMENT when you buy a SAKKIE, you can be assured that your purchase is supporting local business and local families.

What's a SAKKIE?
SAK is the Afrikaans word for BAG or "sack"
(Afrikaans is one of the 11 official languages of South Africa. It is derived from Dutch brought to the Cape by settlers in the 17th century).

We have three different sized "SAKS"...
* SAK is a an extra large 38 x 35 x 15 cm canvas tote
* SAKKIE is our SAK's smaller cousin...38 x 30 cm
* The SAKKIEtjie is the mini version of the SAK and is little pouch / purse with a colourful fabric inside and a brightly coloured zipper.
~All our bags are made from high quality, unbleached bull denim fabric.
~They are a proudly South African product - made in Knysna on the famous Garden Route.
~ Our prints are done using heat pressed dtf (direct-to-fabric) transfers.
